Case Description: Following the devastating Wenchuan earthquake on May 12, schools in the disaster‑stricken areas suffered severe damage. To support the local government in carrying out scientific campus restoration and reconstruction, in December 2009, UN‑Habitat contracted with and launched the “Sichuan Province, Mingshan County, Yongquan Village Earthquake‑Resistant Primary School Restoration and Reconstruction and Capacity‑Building Project.” Our company, as a materials supplier, provided interior wall finishing materials and diatomaceous earth coating services to the school free of charge.
The newly completed Yongquan Village Primary School fully embodies key features such as seismic safety, energy efficiency, environmental protection, and a healthy, harmonious environment. In particular, the diatomaceous earth products used by our company exemplify the nation’s commitment to eco‑friendly, energy‑saving, and sustainable architecture, creating a more comfortable learning space for students.
